About this course:
Take your woodworking skills to the next level with this hands-on course. You’ll learn how to build high-quality cabinets using both hand and power tools, with a focus on precision.
What you will learn:
- How to select and evaluate timber
- Accurate measuring and layout techniques
- Efficient material usage
- Creating a detailed bill of materials
- Professional finishing methods
Educational Requirements
- Basic certificate in cabinet-making or relevant work experience in cabinet-making or joinery
Device Requirements
- A computer or laptop with a stable internet connection
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 or higher
- The following programmes must be installed:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Version 2010 or higher)
- Zoom (accessible via app or browser) for virtual learning sessions
Documentation Requirements
- One valid form of identification (National Identification Card, Driver’s Permit, Passport or Birth Certification
- A copy of your Birth Certificate will only be accepted if no other form of ID is available
- Proof of previous learning/experience: Documentation of completion of a basic certificate in cabinet-making / joinery certificate or equivalent experience

- A 60% upfront payment of the course fee is required to activate your payment plan

- Allow up to 48 hours to receive your payment plan contract and confirmation
- Deadlines
- The signed payment plan contract and 60% initial payment must be submitted at least 4 days before the course start date to secure your enrolment
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive ONE of the following e-certifications:
Graded Certificate of Achievement
Awarded to participants who have met all course requirements and assessment criteria
Certificate of Participation
Awarded to participants who have attended the course but did not meet the assessment criteria
Optional Hard Copy Certificate:
