About this course:

This course is designed to equip participants with essential skills in key computer software tools, preparing them for success in both personal and professional settings. Participants will master the Windows Operating System and learn fundamental tasks such as cutting, copying, pasting, and saving in word processing applications. They will also develop the ability to create polished business correspondence. The course covers advanced formatting techniques to enhance documents, as well as the creation and management of spreadsheets. This course introduces you to developing house plans with AutoCAD, focusing on core design principles, planning procedures, and regulatory compliance. Participants will learn how to manage zoning regulations, apply property bearings, and incorporate key elements such as proportions, furniture, and structural features. The course also covers planning drainage systems, adding dimensions to drawings, and improving drawing accuracy. Additionally, you’ll receive practical advice on conducting site visits, identifying key features, and ensuring the accurate representation of structural elements, such as columns and doors. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to create functional house designs in AutoCAD, with a solid understanding of both technical and regulatory requirements.
